Project Description:

KMB architects designed The Nisqually Tribe’s Convenience Store and gas station, located in Fredrickson, WA was completed in November 2017.  The store has been wildly popular since its opening and continues to be profitable for the tribe.  The site was small, so the construction of the convenience store was limited to 2500 square feet with six double-sided gas pumps.  The gas canopy is a sloped heavy timber structure with peeler pole columns.  The store has four cashier stations and a drive-through sales window around the back for cigarette and tobacco sales.  The store is marked with a tribal logo, red standing seam metal roofs, and peeler poles supporting the entry canopy.
